Help me give my students academic games and workbooks to help strengthen their skills.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Burrows's classroom raised $985

My Students
I teach resource k-5. We try to learn through many different hands on ways. We are constantly looking for more ways to help us learn the skills to be successful. In our classroom, we learn reading, writing, math, and social skills. We do some paper pencil activities but these kiddos learn better when we have hands on learning skills and activities.
These minds are impressionable and need just the right guidance to be successful.
Trying different ways to teach reading, writing, math, and sel can be a challenge and getting parents on board to help is also a challenge. These kids need any resource available to them.
My Project
The resources on the wishlist include games and workbooks. These are great for students to work in partner groups on their individualized goals. For example, today during math for 2-4 grades, I had each student working on their individual goals through file folder games. One group was working on addition facts, another working on subtraction facts, and another working with the teacher on double digit subtraction.
Having access to creative resources such as games, file folder games, puzzles, and individual workbooks, they can work at a level that is not too hard, not too easy, but just right.
With students in resource, they are lacking in specific skills to be successful. With the shut down, a lot of my students have struggled academically and socially, so getting access to social skills workbooks along with academic resources will benefit not just my students but will trickle down into the general education as well.
