it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have been a teacher for over 20 years. I enjoy seeing my students progress and learn new things every day. They are like little sponges, just eager to learn and grow. It inspires me everyday to be a part of their success. As an educator, I find that intervention is an integral part of meeting every student’s need. I use academic based games as a means to reach and engage them. My students are always eager to learn. It’s even more fulfilling when they learn without realizing that they are learning. The reading and math games that I want will allow my students to learn through play.
My Project
I am a first grade teacher and I will use the learning games in two ways. One, I will use them for students who need extra support with lessons that are taught. The games will allow them the opportunity, to review individual areas that they struggle with. Secondly, I will use the learning games for enrichment. There are some students who quickly complete a given lesson. The games requested will allow me the opportunity to challenge them. The games will help me to keep them engaged while building on the lessons just taught. They will make a great impact in my classroom.
