This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The requested chart paper/easel pads, along with the markers will be used to co-create anchor charts that will be displayed in our learning environment and bring it to life.

Students with Disabilities and English Language Learners require engaging visuals to aid in the learning process.

During lessons, anchor charts are created either by the teacher, or the teacher and students. When students are provided the opportunity to give their input and add to the chart, it enhances the learning experience.

Anchor charts display concepts, skills and essential vocabulary that is pertinent to the curriculum. They also serve as a reference point for them to refer back to when completing independent activities.
