Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project is loaded with fun learning experiences! Art supplies have been selected to promote learning, curiosity, intrigue, and more. The 3D printing pens are sure to be an incredible hit with students. They will be able to plan their projects and complete them in 3D form. The colored crayon/marker/colored pencil holder will allow students to stay organized. Maintaining organization is a vital skill to have throughout their educational careers. The rainbow colored pencils and shimmer markers will provide extra fun for projects gaining attention and focus to individual activity plans. The rainbow scratch paper will promote creativity and provide a different learning format for many students. The refillable water brushes will be utilized for years. These pens alone will facilitate intrigue, curiosity, and creativity. The twistable colored pencils allow for easier student usage and increase precision when creating. Communication, Language, and Fine Motor skills will be addressed throughout given tasks. Arts and crafts provide an excellent avenue to facilitate and promote active learning. It improves attention and concentration, increases communication and self-confidence, introduces students to language concepts like prepositions, comparatives, opposites and gives opportunities to target following directions, provides ample opportunities for incidental learning, and improves pragmatics and social interaction just to name a few areas of potential growth. I look forward to sharing these art supplies with students and watching their educational skills flourish with self-completed projects.
