Learning Through Art

My Students

My students are adorable 2, 3, and 4-year-old special education children. Many come from low-income homes. They love being at school and adore interacting with art materials. We have a school garden that they adore but it is in need of supplies as well. These children are starved for hands-on activities to help them learn.

My Project

Help me to provide my students with art supplies to aid in their exploration through different textures and forms of art. We are not given a budget to spend on art supplies in our school, but I find creating art is the best way for young learners to express their different personalities.

Students light up when they are able to bring home an art project to show their families their hard work and creativity.

With the easel, drying rack, and art collage supplies students will have the supplies they need to fully express their creativity while building fine motor skills. They will be able to paint, make a collage, or a 3D sculpture to express their creativity and show what they know.
