Help me give my students the gift of inclusion with technology. The iPads will give them access to math and science curriculum in their hands, their way!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students have been identified with special learning needs and are participating in a resource program. Most are 3-4 grade levels and behind where they should be. They work hard and want to be successful in and out of the classroom. They will benefit from any support a donation could offer.
My students live in a low-income area with 100% qualifying for free lunch.
Most of my students live well below poverty so their parents do not have the means to support a Parent Teacher Association. Many activities and resources are funded directly by the teachers.
These exceptional students may learn differently; however, they are high achievers that never give up. The fight in them makes it easy to advocate for them to have the best.
My Project
Economically disadvantaged students do not always have inclusive opportunities in the classroom. This specific group of students not only all come from low income families they also participate in special education programs.
I want to give my students the power to learn their way with the tools in their hands.
My students need iPads in order to access math/science apps and curriculum that will support their individual educational plans. They have unique learning styles and I want to meet their needs where they are.
The iPads support the differentiated instruction need to provide interventions and learn new content. The OSMO and mics will support their unique learning styles. iPads are great for helping the students be more things independently. A strong math and science foundation will help the close the learning gaps they currently have. Any donation will help these babies grow!
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
