My Students

We are excited about music and how to play in our small bands. Individualized instruction materials that can be used in class or at home are crucial to our students success.

With the ons and offs of being in class or out of class through the COVID-19 crisis, our students have fallen behind in learning the language of music.

Having these materials that they can use in class or at home when needed would facilitate and accelerate their understanding of how music works. They are so motivated and excited to learn.

My Project

The use of whiteboards to learn the language of music, how to read it, interpret it, and use it is a vital function for young budding musicians. These tools that can be put into individual bags will give us the ability to do daily drills either in person or at home if necessary. Anything new is hard to learn.

Learning to read and play instruments requires the entire brain and knowing how to interpret so they can become great performers allows them to give the gift of our universal language - music.
