My Project
Kindergarten is one of the most important grade levels in our education career. At age 5 and 6 students learn best with hands-on activities, visuals, manipulatives and songs. My students come from low income neighborhoods and don't always have the supplies they need for school. Your donations will help my students practice learned skills in a fun way with educational games that they can play in groups. We also lack storage in our classroom. Having a shelf to place our learning tools would help the students to stay organized and learn how to properly store items when they are no longer in use. Half the shelf would also be used to help organize our classroom library with fun book bins. It would be easily accessible and in plain view to make the class exciting upon entry. Students will be able to create bonds and learning with and from their peers. It will help improve phonics skills, spelling, reading, solving algebraic math problems and engineering.
