This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
There are many ways to learn the alphabet and numbers. I believe that learning should be fun! Children learn through play. I hope to stimulate their curiosity for learning through their hands.
Learning locks, letter stampers, and play dough cards will help my students learn their letters, beginning words, and how to count objects.
My children will manipulate the locks and keys to open the locks and their minds to learning letters, numbers, and words. They will use the dough stampers to write their names and other words in play dough. They will use play dough to develop their fine motor skills while learning to count, write numbers and letters, and manipulate the dough on the mats.
Learning should be exciting! It should be fun and invigorating! Learning should stimulate curiosity. It should get children exploring and experimenting. These tools will help me to challenge my children to want to learn every day.
