My Students
Many students in my classroom do not have any prior knowledge or experiences in an educational setting. Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning. The needs and ways of my students vary. With the generosity of donors, my students will receive the resources that they need to succeed. Witnessing the progress of my students is nothing short of amazing.

My kids often face many barriers to education, but they know that when they are in school they are in a supportive environment where they can thrive both personally and academically.
My Project
The interactive learning tools will help my students engage in hands-on learning during centers. By interacting with the materials students will learn their letters.
Without a firm knowledge and understanding of letter recognition and letter sounds, students would struggle with further skills that lead to becoming a strong reader.
A students ability to read is a predictor of their success in life.
The materials included in this project will set my students up for success.
When introducing letters to students it is beneficial to provide them with examples of words that begin with that letter. Having physical alphabet objects will better help my students foster an understanding by building concrete connections. The stand will help me stay organized and provide easy access to the bins when needed.
The magnetic letters will initially be used for students to sort the letters from the numbers, later students will find and use the letters to build words.
The alphabet soup sorter and the alphabet acorns will help students understand initial sounds in words, leading them to become better readers and writers.
Students love manipulatives. The alpha pops, alphabet dinosaurs, learning leaves, letter locks, and instant letter recognition center will encourage students to learn their letters while enhancing their motor skills.
