Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are full of life and energy and need the right materials to support their learning. They are very receptive to learning using technology and are highly motivated by it. Having a Microsoft Surface Laptop available during small group instruction will bring my students' learning to a whole new level since technology is a key component in classrooms today. With the use of various websites, games, videos and apps I will be able to instill in my students a love for science, technology, engineering and math.
My goal is, for my students to have the opportunity to experience how STEM skills are applied in everyday life.
We are requesting a Microsoft Surface Laptop which will provide my students with a wealth of knowledge geared to learning about STEM. My students will solve everyday problems using technology and hands-on activities. The headphones will allow for individualize one-on-one instruction as the Thunderbolt 4 Dock - High-Speed Docking Station will help with any connectivity issues. The swivel tool will allow me to easily move at the students' level to assist them and the organizer to have all the materials accessible.
With your support and generosity in funding our project of a Microsoft Surface laptop and accessories, my students will be able to have a window of learning without leaving the classroom and be able to investigate and integrate STEM into the different subjects.
