My Project
These students missed vital time in classrooms of hands-on learning and exploration. At a pivotal point in their life, they had to do without opportunities that would have expanded their skill sets and knowledge. Fourth grade is a great time to let them explore some of the skills missed. These supplies will enable my class to work and listen to lessons quietly on their Chromebook as well as practice their public speaking skills and possibly video editing. This will enable them to be more comfortable and extend their learning past a textbook. They will also grow in their social skills by working with one another in teams to explore meaningful concepts tied to their lessons. The green screen kit will enable students to practice their public speaking skills as well as retelling their Language lessons. The headphones will provide students with privacy while working on their Chromebooks, eliminating distractions. Students will enhance their Science skills through the loudspeaker, learning about conductivity. Finally, the mazes will enable their problem solving skills as well as provide opportunities to expand their Math concepts by using measurements, 2D & 3D designs and directions.
