My Project
The students in my classroom have a diverse set of behavioral needs. By taking the Behavior Change Course, I will be able to grow my skills and have a variety of proven tools to pull from to address these concerns. The course is broken down into four modules that focus on: increasing positive behaviors, functional based assessment, behavior intervention plan, and when things don't go as planned. Each module has several short video segments with action plans and templates to assist in the implementation. By taking the steps to be proactive and having the visuals necessary to explain the expectations, my students will be able to self regulate their emotions. This will allow my students to thrive.
