My Project

My students love to learn through playing. By giving them a wide variety of STEM related toys, games, and puzzles, we will be giving them opportunities to learn by doing. Magnetic building blocks and building toys will allow them to use visual perception skills to copy pictures or use their creativity to make their own designs. The balancing math games will help them learn basic math skills such as matching numbers to quantities using the visual cue of the scale. The wooden puzzles build familiarity with the different types of tree leaves, as well as building familiarity with facial expressions and emotions. The Logic Road Builder game allows students to cooperate, using their engineering skills to build a functioning track that they watch their tractor travel along.
