This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"Art, Undeniably, is conductive to happiness." unknown My students are happy, creative learners who are always looking for new and fun ways to express their knowledge. They are eager to learn and excited about the new world of learning that they are discovering every time they come to school.

Preschoolers love learning about the seasons and watching how the leave on trees change throughout the year.

This project will provides a hands-on way for my students to learn about Science and Art on how trees change during each season of the year. After my students finish, their research and tree collages, each student will have learned about the changes in each of the seasons, and they will have beautiful pieces of artwork to hang on our classroom.

My Project

At the beginning of each season my students will go for a nature walk around our school. My students will be aware of signs of each particular season. They will use the ipad to take pictures. They will also take videos of each particular season. They will use the technology tools to do research and watch videos about each changing season. While working on this unit of study, the children will be creating a computer book about the seasons. They will also write their responses to the question “What signs of _________(season) on the tablets. The students will work cooperatively and collaboratively with peers, using the technology in the classroom. After they gather all their information and finished watching the videos and taken pictures of each season my students will use the art supplies to do a tree collage according to each season to show how trees change over the year.
