My Project

Our deaf and hard-of-hearing students need basic school supplies to be successful learners. Often families of deaf and hard-of-hearing students have increased financial burdens of paying for amplification systems and therapies that are needed for their children to be successful both in and out of school. The estimated average cost of raising a deaf child is $25,000 per year compared to a non-disabled child's cost of $5,100 per year.

Funding this project will help the families of our deaf and hard-of-hearing students to provide basic school supplies.
