Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach Spanish Language and Literature, Spanish 1, and Spanish for Native Speakers to 140 students, in a low-income high school, in the Worcester District. As a language teacher, I believe in differentiated education so ALL students can learn. In order to teach ALL students, I need technology. I am grateful that the Worcester Public Schools District provides a Mac Air laptop, but I also need to display my Google Slides presentation to my students. In addition, I have students do project presentations in front of the class. Last, I like to show documentaries and plenty of visuals in every lesson. Unfortunately, the old projector that I had, stop working last week. Sadly, the school cannot provide us with one.
We are in need of a projector.

My Project
Nothing makes me happier knowing that my students learn In my class when lessons are fully engaging. Each lesson is planned with care and great effort. I research, I modify, I create with the only purpose to teach ALL my students in a fun and colorful way. Each lesson includes visuals, videos, cultural capsules, and much more. Having a reliable project to showcase our lessons will make it possible.
When I get the state-of-the-art projector, thanks to you, each of my students will be ready to learn and participate in class.
And they find out that it was possible thanks to you, they will be even happier.
