This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our fourth grades enjoy learning about different content areas as they discover a new language no matter what challenges they face, educational or economical. My interactions with my students have taught me the importance to adapt to their individual needs.
Collaboration and engaging learning through content-rich materials and technology is essential to development of language proficiency.
Our Dual Language Program provides students with the amazing opportunity of learning in two languages. I am grateful and excited to have a group of kind and passionate learners who are eager and ready to learn each year!

Tools and materials in the classroom are essential in helping our students navigate the road to success.
Many of my students shared the goal of becoming better Spanish readers and speakers. A document camera is an excellent resource tool for a dynamic learning environment because it makes it easy to display resources, student work, and objects. On the other side, books engage students in Spanish will provide students with opportunity to apply strategies learned . These materials will promote engaging, interactive, and collaborative lessons that better support the visual learners in my classroom.
