This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I love my students! They are fun, kind, and they make great progress every year in their learnings. It is very enjoyable to see their progress and to get to know them individually.

This year, we have two first grade classes of 28 students each, that love to learn Spanish!

Our students are kind, nice, and they enjoy spending time in the classroom with their friends.

Every child is unique and they excel in their own field. We love to see them learning over the school year!

My Project

This whiteboard is going to help my students learn new concepts in Spanish, and have resources that they can read on a daily basis.

The whiteboard will hold Spanish pictures with Spanish names, and also sentence frames, which will help them with basic sentences.

It will also help them in public speaking and presentations because they will be able to bring their posters and use the whiteboard to present!

The board will also be used in the morning when they do the morning meeting. They will have a sentence frame and pictures, and they will be able to look at those if they forget the name of a specific work.
