My students range from Transitional Kindergarten to High School students. We live in a rural community where it is already hard enough to get to school sometimes with dealing with fires, power outages and snow.
My students love to use their creative minds to show off their work.
If my students, especially the younger ones, really need hands on materials as the online/distance learning platform is not the greatest for them. The older ones are doing well with it, but they also need some creative outlets and hands on materials.
These Site Word materials will help my families interact with their children and help them learn to read and write. Not only will the adults that are taking care of the children be able to have fun and interact with their child and help them learn, but the older siblings will be able to help too.
My younger students need the hands on materials to help develop their reading and writing skills.
Having different options, I will be able to send out different themes to different families that I know will help each individual student. There are many families that I will be able to help and they will feel like we are helping them with there home learning as well.
This is a hard time for everyone and I want my students to feel loved and well taken care of during this time.
