This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is to help students in middle school have a better understanding and explore social emotional learning skills. How? Through gaming! I will be using a new gaming tool and will need iPads so my students can interact during our counseling sessions. I will also need a way of monitoring their progress through a third iPad. In order for the gaming experience to be easier they will need iPad pens.

Middle school students have a difficult time expressing their feelings and pinpointing how they feel.

Through this game they will be able to learn about different feelings and how to work around them when they are confronted with difficult situations with other peers.

With your help my middle school students will be able to learn a little more about themselves and also how to navigate uncomfortable social situations.
