Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students will learn math and science through hands-on activities. The magnetic materials will allow children to explore and construct through use of geometric shapes. My young learners will develop skills through trial and error as they discover how to manipulate the materials as they build alone or with peers. They will learn social skills and cooperative play while building.

The math games will allow for children to learn turn taking, cooperative play, number recognition, one to one correspondence as well as build self-esteem.
