Help me give my students math counters and a rug for a fun, clean, and comfortable space to expand and work, which supports and even encourages engineering solutions.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my class, we encourage and implement Cognitive Guided Instructions as well as hands-on math manipulation of objects to explore and solve problems. We have seen amazing results! A rug and new manipulatives to count will help young students develop a stronger number sense and a better understanding of numbers and computations.
Having a fresh, clean, bright, and happy rug in the classroom helps the kids to feel they are cared for and can expand their experience through a welcoming physical space.
We know that having a comfortable space to expand and work, supports and even encourages engineering solutions. Thank you so much for your consideration in helping us continually transform our classroom.
