Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are inquisitive, diligent, and problem-solving geniuses. They have embarked on a semester long distance learning journey and have taught me SO much. They love learning each and every day and have worked hard to distance learn. The students are supposed to return next semester and I am working on providing a safe and comfortable learning environment. Learning happens when you feel comfortable and safe and I would like to provide this for my students.
I truly have an amazing group of students, and want to give them the best education I can!
My Project
First graders love to move and learn. Many students enjoy sitting on the floor to learn or having different seating options that are more comfortable for them while they are learning to read, write, or learn new math concepts.
We start every morning with a Morning Meeting on the rug.
This is a great way to check-in with students to see how they are doing before we start the day. The flexible seating will allow students to choose a comfortable seat while writing stories or reading in the classroom library.
The students will be so excited to have the options in our classroom.
