Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are looking ahead to next year, and setting Kindergarten students up for success. It is a special time where many students are entering school for the first time. We thrive on predictable routines and structures to support us as we learn and grow together. Students will be showing their thinking and learning in reading and writing workshop, as well as phonics, math, science, social studies and art.
Students are capable of doing so many things independently, once they understand the structures, routines, and how to access differentiated materials that meet their needs.
These resources will allow our new math and literacy stations created by educators from all over to last. The gift cards will allow me to purchase new resources from Teachers Pay Teachers, which gives access to a plethora of learning resources for literacy, math, and other content areas! The laminator and laminating sheets also help make pictures and words into lasting labels so we can build our independence through stations across our day. They also help make sure these resources last!
