This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are a Title I school with very little money to buy the materials we need to help students be successful in their learning.
My students are eager scientists and engineers!
They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique experiences to their learning. They are leaders who believe they can accomplish anything they put their minds to. These scientists, engineers, and environmentalists love investigating and creating new ideas to help the world. They believe that science, engineering, and the environment are the future and believe if we take care of our Earth it will continue to take care of us.
My Project
My Kindergarten students will be learning at home during these challenging times. They have limited supplies and are in need of writing materials as they begin their first year of school. I am asking for whiteboards to use during live instruction, and notebooks and pencils for them to keep track of their learning.
The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in authentic, meaningful writing.
We will be using all materials daily in all subject areas. It is very important that young learners have the opportunity to practice writing using pencils and markers and not just writing with their fingers using iPads. All these materials will make a huge impact on my students learning. Thank you for your support!
