This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My high school SPED students deserve a classroom environment that supports their growth and success. This project includes essential supplies like Sharpies, dry erase markers, rulers, paper, and graph boards to promote hands-on, interactive learning, especially in math. Visual aids such as posters and anchor charts will help reinforce key concepts and support students who rely on visual learning.

Organizational tools like copy paper, a mobile whiteboard, timers, and storage bins will help us maintain structure and routine, which is crucial for students with diverse learning needs.

Decorative items like bulletin board letters, borders, LED lights, and artificial plants will help create a calming, welcoming space where students feel comfortable and focused. An iPad will give students access to digital tools and assistive technology that support personalized learning. With these resources, our classroom will become a space where every student can feel supported, engaged, and empowered to reach their full potential.
