This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Hot Wheels racetracks, cars, and accessories we’re requesting will transform our classroom into an interactive Science and Math lab, where students actively engage with concepts like gravity, friction, and momentum. Setting up ramps, loops, and tracks will allow them to measure distance, calculate speed, and experiment with variables, making math and science principles tangible and exciting. Through hands-on experimentation, they’ll test, observe outcomes, and adjust their designs, turning STEM learning into a thrilling, real-world experience. This approach will be especially impactful for our kinesthetic learners, who thrive when lessons involve movement, exploration, and practical application.

My goal is to cultivate a love for learning by sparking curiosity, building teamwork, and developing problem-solving skills—all essential for success in Science and Math My students have a wide range of abilities and come from diverse backgrounds.

They each bring unique strengths, perspectives, and a remarkable resilience that makes our classroom community special. This project will give them the chance to shine, allowing every student to contribute their creativity and energy as they collaborate and innovate together. By making learning inclusive, engaging, and fun, we can inspire every student to see themselves as capable learners and future scientists.
