Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We are looking to help student engagement by allowing them flexibility and mobility while they work. The clipboards will allow students to move about the room and write which allows for a change in location. Students tend to be more engaged when they are not required to sit for the entire class in a single space. The clip board storage unit will allow students to store their clip board in a central location and will aid with organizational skills. The folders will allow students a central location for all of their work and aid in their organizational skills as well. The headphones will allow students their own set of headphones to use in class because we use an online platform for reading skills that are individually designed for each student. This will allow for less distraction while students work. The labels will let students identify their own materials easily.
