My students need a way to receive visual information on the go! We need a document camera.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My Physical Education students are 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students in a Title I school of approximately 2483 students. Our school is in an Urban setting with limited resources.
Our school is under reconstruction which is limiting our normal routine.
Our participation space has been reduced. The ability to get the students moving and disseminate information in a timely manner has become a challenge. The Fitness room we have created over the last four years is not available at this time.
Thankfully the students have been very cooperative and try to keep moving despite our shortcomings.
My Project
With this technology my students will be able to see necessary visual information and cues to help in the learning of fitness and wellness information.
If we need to pick up our equipment and move from outdoors to an indoor setting quickly, the document camera will allow us to continue our lesson efficiently.
Students will learn to be fluid and adapt to real life situations!.
Many times we are changing from a fitness workout to a classroom type activity like CPR, nutrition, or health-related fitness topics. Visuals help enhance the learning experience. A document projector will definitely help solve our problem!
More than half of students from low‑income households
