My students are eager, capable, competent creative thinkers. They are excited to explore, discover and create meaning of their learning. I am certain not any of us imagined that when we were told, in March, that school would be closed for two weeks, that that Friday, the 13th would be our last day in our classroom. However, our district has proactively embarked on the distance learning journey and we are already actively engaging in all sorts of different online platforms and learning new skills and concepts. I am inspired by their level of engagement and participation, and so appreciative of families' willingness to rock our new way of learning!
My passion for teaching, learning and seeing my students grow, learn and succeed are the reasons I am requesting your help with getting and staying organized. I appreciate your considering this opportunity to help me be the best I can be for my students.
I would like to begin recording lessons at home for my students to view at home and continue to learn new material.
My students and I check in through Zoom meetings. We go over new material, my students have the opportunity to ask any clarifying questions and check in with each.
