Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are bright and full of potential. Our school is a high-risk Title 1 school where 40% of families live in temporary housing. In our school community we support each other and work hard to help everybody grow.
During this time of blended learning, we are working hard to get our students access to the resources that are going to help them to progress.
Last year we gave away all the technological resources we had in the school and now that we're coming back to the school again we have no technological devices to support student's learning in the classroom. We would like to purchase a set of kindle devices for students to use in the classroom.
My Project
In my classroom I want students to be given every opportunity to improve to their best ability. Now that our school has given away all of our technological devices to be used for remote learning for our students, my class does not have access to the many of rich and engaging resources that are available online.
These tablets will allow my students to tap into resources that they wouldn't have access to otherwise.
It can take them from a small classroom in a low income school, to anywhere in the world they can dream of. And with these tablets we're going to work to help make those dreams come true!
