My Project
Working in a Title I school, with special needs students in 1st and 2nd grade, I find they love to use white boards to learn. I say, "Show me on 3, 1-2-3" and it turns learning into a game. If they make a mistake, no worries! We can easily erase and learn from our mistakes. When students don't have a hard time copying off the big white board, I can write it on the little white boards for them to copy next to them. Not every student can afford white board pens, and none of them bring white board erasers. This purchase will also give students the ability to use worksheets as whiteboards. Each student can have a pen for the special education room and their general education room. The erasers have inspirational messages on them. That means I can use them for positive reinforcement.
