My Students
Hello!
My students currently are home in an urban area that is low on resources.
The schools have given what they can but many families do not have school supplies to last the remainder of the school year. I am hoping to be able to brighten their circumstances by bringing them school supplies to continue learning from home!
The students live in a low-income city where schools are giving out three meals a day. Many parents have been laid off or are unable to work due to the circumstances of their children being home. I want to be able to give these parents ease in knowing that their children are taken care of when it comes to supplies for learning!
My Project
These materials will give my students the ability to learn from home or while social distancing in school. Currently, the hybrid theme of learning seems to be where our district is heading, which means students will need more resources at school and home! Each child will need their own crayons, glue sticks, rulers, and more! Keeping with social distancing, each child will need their own set of supplies while in school, to try and decrease the spread of germs within the classroom! While at home, many students do not have access to the school supplies we use on a daily basis, such as white boards, glue sticks, pencil grips etc., so their individual supplies will help them complete work at home as well!
