Learning Math the Fun Way!

Help me give my students interactive tools, fun games, and exciting TPT activities to experience! Help me build a visually captivating classroom to increase student engagement and strengthen their overall math skills. Thank you!

My Project

As I reflect on my teaching over the past five years there are a few things I have learned that significantly impact students the most and leave lasting positive memories. These three things are excitement, challenges , and triumphant moments.

My students like most children dedicate more efforts and focus to activities that excite them.

My students love games and I want to share more math minded games with them like the Fraction War and Tangram puzzles to increase their critical thinking skills.

In addition to creating more excitement in my classroom I want to encourage more opportunities for my students to be challenged to help sharpen their prior and new learning through application of useful tools like the dry erase boards for fluency practice. I also will utilize TPT resources for Math and STEM projects that will refine their prior learning, create strong links with newly taught concepts, and help prepare them for facing challenges in the real world.
