My Students
I teach third grade at a diverse school in southwest Florida. Our students come from numerous cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. They are hard workers and love to learn!
This school year has been a challenge for everyone so far, but we are persevering.
I am currently team teaching with another third grade teacher. We have 36 third graders. Twenty-eight are here in-person and eight are remote learners. (These numbers keep changing!) Our two classes include Special Education students, English Language Learners, and Gifted Learners! We hope next year can be a more normal school year!
My Project
For this project, I am requesting 18 copies apiece (1 for each student) of several math picture books. These books cover a variety of topics we will be learning about throughout the school year in math - word problems, area and perimeter, graphing and data, and measuring to fractions of an inch.
I plan to use these books as motivating prizes for my students when they complete their assignments in class.
All books will be kept by the students. Thank you for helping me to provide these resources for my students!
