Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are incredible—every single one of them. They bring energy, creativity, and a lot of personality into our classroom. They’re deep thinkers, big dreamers, and unstoppable when they feel supported and seen.
Now imagine walking into our room and seeing students working in cozy corners, perched on wobble stools, or stretched out with a clipboard on a soft cushion— completely focused and loving the space they’re in.
Honestly, you’d probably want to join them! (If you sat on one of our yoga balls or cushy chairs, you might stay a while.)
Flexible seating makes learning more fun, comfortable, and student-centered. It gives kids the freedom to choose what works for their minds and their bodies—whether they need to fidget, lean, lounge, or stand. You’d be surprised how much a comfy seat can help spark deep thinking and stronger engagement.
This isn’t just about furniture—it’s about creating a space that feels safe, welcoming, and full of possibility where students know they belong and where learning feels just right.
