Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are part of an optional high school program where they are able to attend a private Christian University for college credits. They are hard workers and I learn from them every single day! They are interested in modern-day issues and we constantly relate literature to modern-day situations.
My Project
Students will need to learn literary devices in English class. These Norton textbooks will provide them with the information they need in order to pass English.
This is information students will use for the rest of the lives.
Students need to learn about the various literary devices not only for literature and English class but in life. Literary devices are used everywhere.
Students will also get to practice in this very book! There are exercises where students can practice with the devices. This is also a book they can take home and practice in. This will help them in the long run since they will be able to analyze literature more in-depth with the knowledge they are getting from these books.
