This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We would like to take 50 students and 2 adults to attend a screening of the documentary "Bully."

Our students are wonderful people who have currently been learning about bullying in their advisory classes.

They attend a low-income school in a large urban environment. They have dreams of graduating and attending college in order to help their families and communities.

My Project

Our school has launched an anti-bullying initiative, and we have engaged all of the students in the school in lessons and activities related to the topic. As a culmination of this lesson, we would like to take 50 students to a screening of the documentary "Bully".

By watching the documentary and seeing the effects of bullying on individuals and their families, we hope that students further understand the need to treat one another with respect.
