My energetic, creative students love to learn and "read around the room!" They are developing group learning skills, and love working together and learning at reading and math centers.
Students will easily find a designated space to sit on the carpet for whole group learning, circle, or centers time.
Our daily restorative circle time is helping us build a positive classroom community, as we learn to treat others the way you want to be treated. Music, singing, and movement are part of our daily activities, too. We are learning and growing together.
The Learning Letters Activity Carpet will allow my students to easily find a designated place to sit on the floor during whole group instruction, Restorative Circle time, and Reading and Math Centers. It will hasten their letter recognition skills and aid in learning letter sounds. Our restorative circles are building community within our classroom and aiding our students to be aware of one another's feelings.
My students will be focused and learning while enjoying a colorful, organized classroom.
They will be able to focus on learning and be present to one another. One of their favorite times of the day is "read around the room," and they will be able to find a reading spot easily on this carpet.
