Help me give my students books, letters, and manipulatives to aid in virtual learning.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Hunt's classroom raised $596

My Students
I teach at a PreK through 8th grade, Title I school in Virginia. Our school serves a very diverse population which includes a high military population, immigrants, a high Hispanic population, French students who are enrolled in the NATO program, a high transient population, and I could go on and on.
Our PreK students, in particular, were chosen for our PreK program because they and their families were going through many hardships and these students are considered "at-risk students".
My Project
All materials ordered for this project will be used for my students’ virtual learning. As my students are learning the alphabet, the most important letter to each of them is the first letter in their name. Each student will be given a large wooden letter (the first letter in their name) to decorate and keep as their most important letter as they continue to learn the alphabet.
My students love books but because of remote learning and public libraries being closed, their access to a variety of books is very limited.
I have included in this project a variety of books that will enhance my students’ learning and help them to build a small personal library at home.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
