This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students highly benefit from visual representation when learning new vocabulary and especially for math concepts. We have two different printers that are used to help my students in these two subject areas in particular.

One printer is used for regular everyday copy needs, like math worksheets, homework, and reprinted material.

The other printer is the "big one." This printer is used to print big posters. The posters highlight new concepts learned, mathematical formulas, and other subject areas. We need the two paper photo paper rolls and printer ink to make large posters related to money. My students do yet recognize coins, bills and their value. If we want for them to be financially responsible, they need to understand the value of money. The large posters will help them with this concept.

We need the rolls of photo paper and ink so that my students have all the worksheets, photos and posters needed to help them with math, vocabulary learning all about money.
