it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are diverse in every way--race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, preferences, and personalities. Each one brings a unique contribution to my classes and never fail to surprise, amaze, and delight me each day. They work together to achieve academic and personal goals.
My students are the stars in my sky.
Everyday, they inspire me to be a better teacher and make me smile at their ingenuity, creativity, and unique ways of thinking. In my classroom and beyond, I watch them shine.
My Project
Technology at my school is outdated and functioning poorly. Websites load slowly or not at all, and graphics are blurry or cannot be seen due to the age of the computers used at my school.
A new laptop will give my students the opportunity to use current programs and applications to successfully complete assignments.
My students will also have the opportunity to view websites and information without waiting for it to load. A new laptop will also allow them to create, publish, and present the products of their knowledge so that they will feel confident and proud of their work.
