My Students

My students are English Language Learners who attend a suburban elementary school in Washington. They come from various cultural, linguistic, and economic backgrounds, many of them receive free or reduced-price lunch, and many parents struggle to provide basic necessities for their kids.

My students might speak different languages at home, but share a love of learning at school.

They want to be successful and strive to do their best. My mission is to help them achieve their goals with the resources and support they need.

My Project

My students will use the Qball in many different ways to facilitate and promote language skills. This tool will enhance their listening and speaking skills, encourage their participation, and make learning engaging and fun.

My students will be using the Qball to collaborate on digital storytelling projects by sharing their ideas and narratives while brainstorming.

This Qball will make it easier for all students to participate in classroom activities, using this innovative way to share their knowledge and ideas. After completing the brainstorming session, students will be able to use apps on iPads to create their very own digital stories, which will greatly enhance their language development and creativity.
