This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students are so excited to be at school and play with others. Having limited opportunities to play with others was missing from many children's lives during the pandemic. Now that we are back together in the classroom I want to provide language rich situations where the students will learn from books and extend this learning through their play.
As a Speech-Language Pathologist I work with the students in their classrooms fostering language and improving communication skills.
The items on this wish list will help the students engage with others and learn new vocabulary and grammar.
