Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This past year has presented many struggles for students due to learning at home. One struggle many of them encountered was being limited to basic school supplies and toys. My students were highly impacted in the area of language, creativity, and collaboration. Moving forward, specifically for this year, one goal for students in my classroom is to get them back to normal. One way towards normal is by providing them with materials for collaborative opportunity and social interactions.
The Super Garage will play many roles in the program for the students.
It will encourage collaboration, language development, and social interactions in my most impacted students with autism.
