This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class is an elective for special needs students in middle school.

Many of my students have expressed interest in building projects, like ones our school robotics team compete with.

Puzzles and Lego sets would give our classroom the hands on opportunities they crave. I would like build skill and curiosity by providing some building projects, with your help. Moreover, my students benefit form sensory items like kinetic sand, to help with regulation. Middle school is a significant time of transition and growth. My class provides social emotional support and teaches skills to take on more responsibilities and thrive. Thank you so much for your consideration!
