This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books will help teach my student the social skills that they are lacking due to being out of the classroom for the past year and a half. Having the students learning from home during COVID has affected their ability to interact appropriately with their peers. They want to have friends but they don't know what that is supposed to look like. By reading these books, I can show the students what it means to be a friend to someone, how they should act with their friends and how important it is to be kind to those around you!
