This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Each one is very loving and sweet! They are eager to learn everything! My students are creative and big hearted. They all just want to please me. I have 2 autistic boys that have just stole my heart! I love the way they have all come to trust me!!! My kids are very special and many come from single parent households. In order to help them be successful I feel that I need to create a better, more suitable learning environment!!! I know these stools could make all the difference!!! These stools could be just the thing they need to help them in their academic future. I have never had any special needs children before but I am willing to do all I can to make them more comfortable at school. Kindergarten is a whole learning project. Everything we do in school is a project for not only the students but for me as well. I am excited to learn with my students everyday.

My Project

Being in Kindergarten is a huge project in itself. There is always something new and exciting to learn. Kindergartners are always on the move but sometimes it is just not enough! Some of my little learners need to move about more than the others! By having these stools my learners would be able to wiggle about without disrupting my other learners. This would help tremendously by allowing the flow of learning to continue more smoothly. My students need to be able to learn in their own unique ways and for some that means the freedom to move about even if it is just in a stool!
