This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are enthusiastic to learn, kind and motivated. The students are in all grade levels from 9th to 12th grade and have plans to attend a four year university. They come from diverse backgrounds and are eager to learn a new language.
My Project
My Italian 1 and 2 students need more resources to practice and improve their reading skills in the target language. They need to read short stories that are interesting and captivating. This book provides short stories along with audio, they will get to read the stories as well as to listen to them. Besides reading alone and as a class, they will get to work in groups and discuss what they read. I will create projects from the stories so they can get more out of them. These books will be a great resource for the students to continue their language journey.
